Congratulations to Dr. Priscilla Lui who recently received the Coronavirus Faculty Research Relief Fund from SMU. The coronavirus disease outbreak from the 2019 (COVID-19) has caused us to halt many research activities, in order to adhere to public health guidelines and prevent the community spread of the coronavirus. Unfortunately, COVID-19 also has adversely impacted progress in our work. This faculty relief research award is made possible thanks to the generous donations by alumni from the SMU Dedman College. The funds will be used to update our technology and adjust procedures for our upcoming Social Interactions Study so that we do not rely on in-person operations.
