Nov. 29-December 5, 2021: Book release week in London means I get to visit bookstores and sign things and say hello to the really kind people who are buying my book. I’ll also get to cart a suitcase-load of books home for friends and family who ordered copies.

April 19, 2020 (Sunday 2-4 PM): “An Afternoon with Authors”, hosted by Leaves Tea Room and Bookstore. “Spend an afternoon with Dallas-Fort Worth authors sharing about the writing process, with a focus on Writing for Fun.
General schedule will include time to meet and greet with the authors, hear a panel discussion on writing, allow for a brief time to hear about the author’s work, watch the authors work within the creative process, and a brief Q&A.”

May 14, 2019, (Tuesday) 7 PM: Chocolate Secrets LitNight Reading Event. Reading from an excerpt from a short story in progress. Ya’ll–this event is lit!

February 21-22, 2019 (Thursday 7 PM/Friday 8AM-4PM): Highland Park Literary Festival. 

Highland Park Literary Festival brings to Dallas extraordinary authors, such as Markus Zusak, Naomi Shihab Nye, and Michael Chabon. Although the fiction workshops are closed to the public (for the high school and middle school students only), the event on Thursday evening with this year’s keynote speaker, Nnedi Okorafor, is free and open to the public. Books by all the invited Workshop Guests will be available for purchase in the lobby, provided by Interabang Books.

January 19, 2019, (Saturday) 1 PM: Interabang Books event. Come out for a book-signing and Q&A about Novalee and the Spider Secret. I’ll bring French macarons just for the heck of it.

Dallas Book Festival on April 7 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m at the Dallas Public Library Children’s Center.  Come visit me and a host of other authors at the downtown library. Bring a kid, a teen, yourself! Games, candy, books, swag: what else could you want?

February 22-23,  2018: Highland Park Literary Festival

Highland Park Literary Festival brings to Dallas extraordinary authors, such as Markus Zusak and Michael Chabon. Although the fiction workshops are closed (for the high school students only), the event on Thursday evening with this year’s keynote speaker, Adam Johnson, is free and open to the public.

Saturday, February 3, 2018, noon. Barnes & Noble Bookstore at Mockingbird and 75, Book-signing for the “south-of-the-high five” Dallas peeps. Limited supply of book-swag available–come get yours.

January 20, 2018, 1-3PM, Book Release party at Sweet Firefly ice cream shop in Richardson. Come have free ice cream (first 20 people free!), get your book signed by the author and the illustrator, and take home some book swag (bookmarks, stickers, and Eiffel Tower key rings)! Limit number of books available for purchase, or you can bring your pre-purchased books for the book-signing.

Dallas Public Library, 4th Annual Edgar Allen Poe Festival on October 21, 2017 from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m.  Come visit me and a host of other authors at the downtown library. Bring a kid, any kid! Games, candy, books, swag: what else could you want?

I’ll be giving out invisible $100 bills, which aren’t much use. But I’ll also be handing out “Free Drink” cards (that are visible and useful). First come, first served. Stop by and share a toast to Some Act of Vision’s book birthday. I’ll be signing books, too. (Although I’m not officially selling books at this event, you might be able to procure one…nothing’s impossible.)
