Kenny recently entered the Texas Observer 2014 Short Story Contest, judged by Elizabeth McCracken, the James A. Michener Chair of Fiction at the University of Texas at Austin. The winning story will be published in the October issue of the Observer. Kenny is always looking for opportunities like this one and he hopes to be published many times in many places during his time as an undergraduate.
