Graduate Students

G3. Jonathan Lefton is a third year graduate student interested in all aspects of materials research and crystal engineering. Jon was one of the first grad students to join the group. His most recent paper was published in Cryst. Growth Des. 2020 and a Preprint on his latest work in available on ChemRxiv.

G3. Christina McConville is a third year graduate student interested in the surface chemistry of Titan and Titanean mineralogy. Christina was one of the first grad students to join the group She is recipient of the prestigious NASA FINESST Fellowship. Her most recent paper was published in Chem.Commun. 2020

G1. Lida Tehrani is an incoming first year graduate student, which (due to the global pandemic) will join us later next semester. She is interested in crystal engineering of hydrogen bonded systems.

Undergraduate students

Kyle Pekar was the first undergraduate to join our lab in 2018. He is a Hamilton Scholar working on fitness supplements. His first, first-author paper was recently submitted and a Preprint is available on ChemRxiv.

Jewel Burleson joined our lab in 2019. She is interested in crystal engineering of fungicides and in the combination of chemistry and law. She also participated in our recent project on supplements, Preprint.

Matthew Heaney joined our lab in 2019. He is interested in various projects, especially minerals and inorganics. He received the Hamilton Scholarship to work on pigments design based on cocrystal engineering.

Michael Richmann joined our lab in 2020. He is interested in crystal engineering of fungicides, and preparation and design of deep eutectic solids.
