To prospective students: I am looking for graduate students who are interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in operations research with a focus on (stochastic) nonlinear optimization and differential privacy. Competitive applicants should have a strong background in applied math, statistics, and computation. Applications are encouraged from undergraduate or master’s students in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related areas.
