New study with Mexican American community adults on alcohol use

Check out our new paper in the Journal of Latinx Psychology (published by the American Psychological Association) entitled, “Explaining the Alcohol Immigrant Paradox: Perspectives from Mexican American Adults.” We interviewed Mexican American adults from the DFW community about their beliefs about and experiences with alcohol use. The discussions led to rich information about their perspectives and can inform future research and potential clinical interventions. This paper was coauthored by a team of undergraduate students, post-bac research assistant, and graduate student, along with external collaborators. It was a team effort all around.
