Congratulations to our second-year Ph.D. student, Savannah Pham, for receiving an Honorable Mention for the Ford Foundation Predoctoral Fellowship from the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Medicine. This is a highly competitive cross-disciplinary program designed to support Ph.D. students of historically underrepresented backgrounds in academia (esp. African Americans and Hispanic/Latinx Americans) who will teach and serve underrepresented minority learners in their future careers.
