Speaker Series Program Guide
The Series serves a dual purpose: it promotes a
culture of competition and personal growth for the students of SMU, and provides
a medium that enables corporations to identify prospective talent in a natural
business setting.
Club members of SMU Toastmasters will be invited
to deliver speeches to corporate leaders in industry for a chance to win
scholarships of $5000 (for best speaker) and $2500 (for most improved
speaker) thus providing a powerful incentive to polish one’s public speaking
skill set.
