Corona Del Mar High School is consistently one of the best high schools in America, both academically and athletically. Taylor was challenged in various AP (advanced placement) courses and also on the court where he played four years of basketball including two years on the varsity squad.

Southern Methodist University has one of the US's top twenty undergraduate business schools. Here, at the Cox School of Business, Taylor majors in Finance and is also adding a minor in Spanish.
