Foundation - The Point
Foundation provides scholarships to lesbian, gay, bisexual and

Queer
Scholars Fund - The
Queer Foundation offers to the winners of each year's essay contest
$1,000 scholarships to the U.S. college or university of their choice
to study queer theory or related fields.

Scholarship Award - The American
Psychological Association's Division 44 offers this award to support
graduate student research into psychological issues relevant to
individuals who are gay, lesbian and bisexual.

Gay and Lesbian Task Force (NGLTF)
- NGLTF presents a $240,000 scholarship program for high school seniors
and undergraduate college students who plan to pursue a bachelor of
arts degree in journalism at an accredited four-year college or

- The Gay and Lesbian Alumni of Rice University, Houston, Texas awards
a $1000 scholarship each academic year.
Youth
Courage Award - The Colin
Higgins Foundation awards three $10,000 grants to lesbian, gay,
bisexual, transgender, queer and questioning youth (through age 24) who
have stood up to hostility and intolerance based on their sexual
orientation and triumphed over bigotry or allies who are working to end
homophobia and discrimination against LGBTQ communities.

FTM DFW
- FtM DFW is an organization for the support of individuals in the
Dallas/Ft Worth area, who were born female and experience GID, are
transgender, transsexual, or plan to transition. This website lends
general information and lists local resources, but is not intended to
give medical or legal advice.
GEAR
- Gender Education, Advocacy & Resources (GEAR) was created as
a program of the Resource Center Dallas in 2005, and is the first
formalized transgender program sponsored by a major gay, lesbian,
bisexual and transgender (GLBT) organization in North Texas.
