Sunday, June 28 2009 marks the 40th anniversary of the most important moment in our history as a people. Just as LGBT people stood up for themselves at the Stonewall Inn, forty years later we as a community must rally together to reflect upon our shared history and leave energized to finalize the fight for winning our full equal rights.
Join
the Dallas LGBT community this coming Sunday,
June 28 at Cedar Springs and Knight (the parking lot of Kroger)
beginning at 2:00 in the
afternoon. We will then march to Lee Park to rally and listen
to
speakers like Cece Cox, Phil Johnson, Rick Vanderslice, Robert Moore
and many others. Let’s come together as a community
now so that the
50th anniversary of Stonewall can be a big celebration of our long
fought for freedom!
