Activites and Awards
- Measured the crosstalk between channels at the connection of two fiber optic cables
- Attempted to reduce crosstalk by incorporating two lenses to focus light and minimize the divergence
- Collaborated with team members across discipline to design, build and execute a robot
- Responsible for building a Visionary system for the robot to detect a white ball
- Goal was to accomplish finding the ball and transferring it from one pedestal to another in the fastest time with the least number of manual commands
- Team won the competition by sending 7 commands in 6 min and 40 seconds
- Honor society inviting high-achieving freshmen and sophomores

- Designed and constructed a new dog park in Kingwood, Texas. Coordinated volunteers to assist in clearing paths, lying crushed granite, and removing large amounts of underbrush. The dog park sees an average of 100-120 dogs per day.
