Who We Are

OutLaw is a student organization dedicated to gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender persons and their friends in society, in the legal community, and at SMU Dedman School of Law. OutLaw provides a forum for the discussion of legal, social, political, and academic issues affecting our community. OutLaw serves an important social function by allowing gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender students at SMU Dedman School of Law to establish friendships, disseminate information on GLBT issues, and network with community leaders, lawyers, faculty, and graduates that share a commitment to the equal treatment of sexual minorities regardless of their sexual orientation or gender identity.
