1) "On a
Wing and a Prayer"
On a Wing And a Prayer is a documentary aimed at interfaith dialogue that will be hosted in the Hughes Trigg Theater on April 27th at 3:00 pm. If you are interested, please email Osman Ahmed at oahmed@smu.edu or Zaenab Farzal at zaenab@smu.edu.
This documentary follows Monem Salam, a Pakistani American, as he enrolls in an open-minded flying school. Along with his family, he works to cast off stereotypes while refusing to succumb to the restrictions of a post-9/11 era.

Once a Muslim Mustang, Always a Muslim Mustang
Join us THURSDAY, May 1st at our annual award show, replete with a barbeque featuring halal burgers and kabobs. We’ll be honoring a year’s worth of hard work and dedicated effort, as well as having a fun time, so please join us at University Park at 3 pm. We will be offering rides, or for those wishing to transport themselves we will be at Williams Park on University Dr. immediately opposite the University Park Police Station. We will have various competitions following the barbeque, so please join us for both food and fun.
The Muslim Law School Association will be co-sponsoring the event.

10.31.2007 In an effort to raise awareness and correct misconceptions, IANT will be hosting a seminar this Saturday, Nov 3rd at 10 am in the Richardson Masjid. It is specifically aimed to counter the recent effort by certain anti-Islamic groups to promote a nation-wide Islam Fascism Awareness Week. Click here for details Prayer will start at 9:30 am Sharp. Please allow yourself enough time to get there. The Convention Center is in Downtown Dallas so there are a lot of different ways to get there. Also, to save time and money use the Dart rail from Richardson, Plano or Garland all the way to the Convention Center. Dart will drop you off right under the Convention Center, then follow the signs to Hall F.
Thank you for participating in our 7th annual Fast-a-Thon and Ramadan Banquet this past Friday. Thanks to you, we have made the front cover of the Daily Campus today and have exceeded our goals in contributing to the cause we have been working for. The Fast-a-Thon has become a much-awaited event every year and is definitely an SMU tradition worthy of recognition. That said, there is always room for improvement. Please give us feedback with comments, suggestions, areas of improvement, your favorite part of the program, and any thing else related to what you may have learned about Muslims and Ramadan.
