My research agenda emphasizes organizational sociology and economic sociology, the study of the social bases of economic behavior. I am interested in theoretical and methodological questions related to organizational change, educational and labor market outcomes, gender, and culture, with particular interest in attraction, retention, and attrition from science careers.
