About Me

I was born in Dallas,Texas. I'm a native. I've lived here all my life. In fact, I've lived in Plano since I was about 1 year old.

I went to Christie Elementary, Carpenter Middle, Clark High, and both PESH and Plano Senior High School.

When I graduated, I decided to attend SMU and get a degree in Cinema-Television. On the way here, I discovered a pamphlet about a class called Multimedia Applications. Which had a career opportunity at the end called STAR. I went for it. I filled out an application, attended the class, and at the end of the class, was invited to join the program.

While attending the first classes of my college career and taking the Multimedia Applications class, I also worked in the Meadows School of the Arts, in the Props Shop. We ended up making the props for all the plays that Meadows puts on. These included puppets, food, weapons of all sorts, and lots of general craft and useful materials used for the shows. It was a great experience and I currently still work in the Props shop.

This summer, I had the opportunity to work with the Dallas Shakespeare festival, and helped make the props for that too. It was also a very educational experience, with fiberglass and fabric prevalent in the shows.

I also worked for my Aunt, Bonnie Vinson, VP of Overdrive Productions, this summer. We worked on websites for her daughters and also just did general business stuff. This taught me a lot about how business works and how everything is run. It also showed me a lot about website design and functionality.

I'm currently dating a great guy, Keith. We've been going out for about 5 months now, and are enjoying our life together. We have plans for the future, as well as friends and family together.
