KPNI DJ Application Information

Becoming a KPNI - SMU Radio DJ is a very easy process and requires NO PRIOR experience!

The steps to becoming a DJ include: Filling out the online DJ application Equipment/technical training (1-1.5 hours) Policy training (15-30 minutes) Picking a time slot, show name, etc.

There are monthly DJ meetings that KPNI DJs attend, and everyone is welcome. Staff also holds weekly office hours and a weekly staff meeting in which any DJ or other individual is welcome to sit in on (simply ask a KPNI staff member).

If you would like to have your own radio show and be a DJ with KPNI, start the process now by filling out the online application. NO PRIOR experience is required, and show content is of your choosing (within limitations of the law).
