The SMU International Relations Council is a student organization open to students of all disciplines with an interest in International Relations.

The organization works to broaden and deepen knowledge of international awareness and foreign affairs in the global community and provide understanding and provide a forum for members to discuss contemporary international issues and act as informed global citizens.

Throughout the year, the IRC participates in Model United Nations conferences, as well as hosts a variety of campus events such as UN Day. The organizations meetings are held Thursday’s at 5:00 p.m. throughout the year in the Hughes-Trigg student center.
