How to create a mask over your VR in 6 steps.

Original VRHere is the original VR...

    Mask Image

Create an image in Photoshop or other imaging app with the dimensions matching the size of your VR or movie. In my case, I have all my VRs at 400x200, so the image I would create would be 400x200.

Create you logo, name or whatever you want to have masked. The whites in the image, will be what shows up over your VR.

Save it as bitmap image (blacks and whites only).

Movie Info

Open your movie in QuickTime Player and "Get Info" or "Get Movie Properties," depending on which version of QuickTime Player you have.

Under movie, pull down to "VR Panarama Track" and choose "Mask" under the other pull down.

Mask Added.

Click "Set" and choose the bitmap you saved earlier.

Final VRThe mask will now appear over your VR.

You can now close the Info window.

Save Dialog Box

Save the movie and be sure to check the "Make movie self-contained" radio button.

You are done.
