Panhellenic Council: Executive Board | Constitution & By Laws | Recruitment | Panhellenic Press | Upcoming Philanthropy Events | Panhellenic In Action Panhellenic RecruitmentRecruitment Registration | Recruitment Registration Instructions | 2008 Recruitment Schedule | Recommendations | Informal Fall Recruitment Recruitment RecommendationsRecommendations are letters written by sorority alumnae supporting a potential new member going through Panhellenic Recruitment. Recommendations are not required to go through recruitment. If a chapter requires a recommendation on potential new members, it is ultimately the chapter's responsibility to secure a recommendation. Potential new members who would like to secure their own recommendations may do so, but all recommendations must be sent directly to the chapter house. Any and all recommendations sent to The SMU Panhellenic Association will be discarded and not forwarded. The SMU Panhellenic office cannot help you secure recommendations or check to see if a chapter has received a recommendation for you. Please do not call the office with questions regarding recommendations. It is not necessary to register with your Hometown Alumnae Panhellenic group. Those groups exist to help you to find recommendations, if you so desire. Please note that registering with you Hometown Alumnae Panhellenic does not also register you for recruitment at SMU. You must also register online with the SMU Panhellenic Council for Recruitment. Chapter House Addresses
