Recycling on Campus
Single-Stream Recycling
SMU has single-stream recycling, so any recyclables can be placed into any of the regular recycling bins on campus. There may be some old recycling bins being used as trash cans - you can tell this by the black trash bag inside. All recycling bins on campus should have clear trash bags.

In Residence Halls
All residence halls have a place where you can deposit recyclables for SMU's single-stream recycling program. Ask your RA for a clear recycling bag so that you can collect recyclables in your room and then leave the bag in the trash closet or near your residence hall's recycle bin.
Off-Campus
For items that you cannot recycle on campus, please refer to this Earth 911 website to find the nearest place for your recyclables.
