Chapter Meeting Minutes 2-9--99

Jay opened what was quite possibly the shortest meeting in history with
the three sharp taps of his fist promptly at 6:30. Fords rule! 

Darby reported on last week's project-Dallas Nature Center. 
They moved plants, she's still sore, had a great time, hopes that no one
hates her because she came disguised as a control freak.

Jay will have the hours report done some time this week. Stop by the
Volunteer Office if you want to know your total updated service hours.

This week's project- Arc of Dallas- Bowling- Jamie Graden is the project
chair. We are bringing them Valentines! The project is from 9 a.m.-12.
Meet on the steps of Hughes-Trigg at 9 a.m.

Feb 21st project - Salvation Army - need project chair (pledges this is
your chance!) 

Feb 27th - Community Service Day - Garage Tear Down- Also a sectional
event- Danielle is the project chair.

Announced the active member of the week - Lara Wilhelm - was awarded this
blue stuffed animal thing - Taula, or something, was it's name.

Pledge of the week - Eddie - awarded rattle.
Congratulations to you both!

Fellowship event this week is the advisor appreciation banquet at La
Madeleine on Friday at 5:30 p.m. Cost is $3 for APOers, $8 for guests.

*In case you haven't heard- Michelle was accepted to UT law school!
 Congratulations Michelle!
*Also, in case you didn't hear, poor Katie's car caught on fire- but she's
 ok, thank goodness.
*Renee returned the gavel! However, someone stole it off the table
sometime between then and the end of meeting. Great, huh?

Freddie's Ford Mustang could beat Aren's Chevy Nova ANY day of the week!
The meeting ended around 6:50 p.m. Amazing, huh?
