Meeting Minutes for Feb. 6, 2001

II. Officer Reports

A. Andrea, SVP
1. Arc of Dallas - last Saturday, great fun!!! All pledges went!!!
2. Salvation Army - this weekend, We will meet at 9:30am on the steps of H/T and will last until about 1pm.
3. Religious Disclaimer - We will be packing calanders and Bibles for inmates who have requested them, if you don't feel comfortable doing this we can find you something else to do there.
4. Future Projects - Dallas Lighthouse for the Blind and People Helping People with Golden Key

B. Summer, MVP
1. Last week's fellowship project was at the Galleria for Ice Skating - went great, a lot of fun!
2. Dallas Aquarium Trip - we will leave at 2pm, meet on the steps of H/T and walk over to the Mockingbird Station for the DART Rail.
3. Valentine's Day Party is coming up - don't forget to decorate your bags, there's a prize for the best one!

C. Laura, Pledge Trainer
1. Initiation went great! - 6 were initiated plus one more will be soon.
2. Pledge Retreat - went wonderfully, 7 pledges came and it was a great bonding experience.
3. Plegdes learned the purpose, AO, and their pledge class namesake at last week's meeting.
4. Upcoming Events - Calanders are in the office or ask Laura
a.) Victory Party has been moved to March 2
b.) Pledge Project - March 24

D. Kelly, PR/Rush
1. Yearbook Picture - next week @ 5:30pm
2. Bring pictures for the yearbook page
3. Rush COmmittee Meeting will be sometime this week, TBA

E. Kevin, Treasurer
1. Budget is done!!!!! woohoo!!!
2. The final amount of the dues are due on April 17.
3. Pay your $6.00 if you haven't already, it is past due.

F. Jennifer, Secretary
1. Sorry, but the roster's not done and it's not my fault.
2. When you give me your information, please give me ALL your information.

G. Carrie, President
1. SMU Rides situation - meeting will be held @ 5:30pm during tomorrow's exec meeting. Any old SMU Rides chairs are more than welcome to attend.
2. Need appointed positions still
2. HERD is coming up on Feb. 24 from 1:00pm - 6:00pm, so sign-up!!!
3. Un-Valentie's Day Party is this Saturday at 7:00pm - 10:00pm

A. Danielle needs pictures, because she won't be able to be at projects for a couple of weeks.
B. Womens' Symposium : Topical Luncheons on Tues. and Wed. Feb. 27 & 28
C. Laura is working on the Oral History Project so she need's any alumni contact information, she'd like all family trees, and M.O.V.E. is interviewing for Exec Members for next year.
D. Dina - Anyone want to do SMU Rides??? or have any suggestions for organizations to ask???
