Chapter Meeting Minutes 9-8-98 First of all, I would like to let everyone know that Jay helped me out a whole lot with the calendar with his cool little computer program, so you can definately thank him for it's spiffiness! Fellowship Event : This Thursday at 6 p.m. meet at the SMUSH to go to Mustang Madness together! Service Project this Saturday will be at the Juliette Fowler Homes. We will be bowling with the elderly folks. It should be really fun guys! We will meet at 9 a.m. at the SMUSH. It should last til about 12. There will be no service project this Sunday due to the Active Retreat which will be at Gina's house at 1:00 p.m. Meet in front of the Student Center if you need or want a ride. Katie needs a project chair for next weekends' project with the Salvation Army. Contact her if you're the man...or woman of course! Gina will be holding an exclusive JI reunion on Thursday at 4:30 til about 5:30 p.m. at the Student Center. Gina informed us that "st paul has been called the last city of the east, making minneapolis across the mississippi the first city of the west." So go to the first city of the west at Nationals! The Gold team has a total of 772 points and Blue has 815. Come on Gold, what's going on here? oh...eh hem..sorry Happy belated birthday to Aren ( Sept 7th ) and happy birthday to Andrea (Sept 8th )! Jay's Big committee meeting will be September 20 at 2 p.m. Jay reminded us that Initiation is next week after meeting. T-shirts! Buy them! Now! Bring your mere $7 next week to purchase an awesome SMU Rides or a Rush T-shirt from Jen Anderson. Jen will need a Blood Drive Committee so for those interested, be thinking about that. But just think about it...sign up! please Jen Nash's fundraising committee will meet Wednesday at 7:30 in the Student Activities Center in Hughes-Trigg. However, the meeting place may change to the SMUSH. Jen will let you know. We still have 5 boxes left of the Student Guides that we are merely have to hand out for a great sum of money! Meet on Wednesday at 2 p.m. near the post office in Hughes-Trigg to participate. This project will also, most likely, continue on Thursday. Jennifer would like your money, dues are $30. If you have a problem with paying them, talk to Jen about a payment plan. Kristi, our worthy leader, requested that anyone interested in being on her committee for motions at National let her know. Kristi also announced that Friday, Sept 11 th, at 6:30 UTD will be having an info session. Randy Ward announced that he needs help...with the Blood Marrow Drive that is.He needs more people on his committee. So, let Randy know if you're interested!
