Call to Order
Purpose

Secretary:
-the roster is going around the room
-be thinking of Natalia
-buy a shirt for $3! Pledges: not one with the crest

Treasurer:
-checks from last week can be picked up from the comptroller in the SAC
-fundraiser on 10/25: passing out coupons for Baha Fresh. We get a percentage. Will look into the rules for soliciting on campus, at mall.
-next $10 of dues due today
-money for Regionals accepted today as well or ASAP...if one more person goes, Heather will get a pie in the face!
-Lauren will register the group tomorrow (must be done by 10/11 or there is a late fee)

Pledge Trainer:
-this is "Your Big Forever, if You Will" Week
-Victory is Thursday, 8 PM, at the Women's Center
-pledge class officers: Jessica Ingram - Leadership chair, Ashley Beer - Friendship chair, Page Burdick - Service Chair, Calvin Smith - Secretary, Katharine Robbins - pledge class liaison
-pref your big or little NOW
-Jessica: the pledges learned about the principles, symbols, and chapter positions

MVP:
-to get Blue/Gold points at chapter, you have to sign in with name and number of letters you are wearing
-will have points update after getting service data from Jenn
-fellowship report: Mase talked about the trip to the DMA
-no fellowship this week because of Victory or next week
-10/25 is the trip to Farmer's Market, on Saturday after the project
-help earn spirit points during Homecoming Week!
-Nathalie: fellowship chair, needs help with Membership Committee and Banquet planning, so sign up

Guest: Carol Clyde
-new director of the Office of Leadership and Community Involvement. Wants to maintain strong link with APO. Was an advisor to a chapter at another campus, so is familiar with the organization

PR/Rush:
-Blood Drive is in 2 weeks
-info tables on Thursday, Friday, and Monday before, from 10 AM - 4 PM
-blood drive runs on Tue-Thu, 10/28-10/30. 10 AM - 4 PM on Tuesday and Wednesday and 10 AM - 3 PM on Thursday
-can earn 1 service hour for working the info tables, working at the blood drive, or donating blood

SVP:
-project report: Hope Cottage auction was cool and two members of AO won prizes! Helped set up auction at Chuy's restaurant
-this week's project: People Helping People, but we aren't tearing down garages this time! Will be painting trim on an old house instead. Meet on the steps at 8 AM on Saturday. Goes till noon. Wear old clothes.
-hours total: 536.5 already! Hours summary sheet is going around, so make corrections

President:
-have the schedule for Regionals if you want to see it
-will organize a hotel room only if people want to
-will arrange a time for people to meet and caravan to conference
-sign up NOW for registration, banquet, T-shirt, etc.
-chapter subsidizes $12.50 of registration cost, but none of banquet, T-shirt

Appointed Positions
Fellowship Chair: sign up for Fellowship Committee. Trying to organize a Homecoming tent for APO alumni. Need everyone to make it to Spirit events during Homecoming! Will have signups for float building soon.
SMU Rides: sign up for SMU RIDES!
Internet Coordinator:If anyone is getting e-mails incorrectly or something is wrong on the website, let me know.
