October 7, 1996: The Nova is no longer for sale; I am keeping it. July 25, 1996: I hate to say it, but "I have to sell my Nova." It's a 71 that I saved from the crusher. It originally was a 307 with a Power Glide. I installed a 454, TH-350 transmission, 3:31 12 bolt rear end, P/S, P/B, and put a custom paint job on it (along with tons of other stuff).

One of my special things is engine detail work. Making something look good with a lot of bucks is easy. Making something look good with less bucks is a bit harder. TRANSMISSION

That's what I do for a living: restore or hotrod old/muscle cars. As you can tell from the 9.5:1 compression ratio, automatic trans., and 3:31 gears, this car is intended for the street. I drive this car every day (winter time TOO!). If it sells, I will miss it. (Taking my kid to school was never so much FUN!) And it's no sissy; it lives outside all year long. Double-dip urethane over lacquer makes for a very tough finish. I am asking $8,500. (Don't ask how much I have in it; it hurts too much.) Why you ask? I just can't afford it anymore. Gas milage is down in the 4 to 6 mpg range. And I can't "butcher" the car and put a small block back in it (I'll burn it first). So I'm looking for a Monte Carlo SS or something like that. I will consider trades.
I built this car from the ground up (including the 454) and can answer any questions about it.
